Child abuse, girl children in the community are at risk of being abused both by family members and those in the school environment. Forced child marriage and early pregnancies, with the average of marriage estimated to be 17. This gave G&N the information it needed to better tackle the issues in the community. These workshops have been attended by over 300 women to date. RMT is also providing 500 girls educational programming targeted at eliminating child marriage and empowering young girls in rural communities. The program spans 2022 into 2023 and we cannot wait to share all the activities the girls take part in.
